The final leg of our 2022 summer trip to Tohoku begins in the city of Kazuno, Akita! First, we went to Lake Towada, which we had tried to visit the day before but had to abandon the idea after dark. Lake Towada, which was well-sunlit, was very beautiful and calm. After that, we headed for the Tsugaru-Iwaki Skyline through the city of Hirosaki. The lift was closed, so we decided to go to the summit by ourselves...? Finally, we boarded the Seikan Ferry to Hakodate, Hokkaido... A long drive from Okayama to Hokkaido! This time, we will report in two parts: the "Tohoku part in summer" from Okayama to Aomori, and the "Hokkaido part" after landing in Hokkaido. We hope you have a great trip!
