There was so much to see and do on the first day that we're splitting it into two! We finally landed in Hokkaido! However, we landed in Hakodate by ferry at 3:00 a.m., not knowing whether to call it midnight or morning. We decided to take the day off to rest and enjoy the nice weather as we toured the city of Hakodate. I went to Cape Tachihaye for the first time, and had a delicious hamburger at Lucky Piero's.
