Needed a quick mid week refresher so what better than to head off to the Northumbrian coast and spend an evening exploring the beach and a night listening to the gentle lap of waves from the North Sea. We were pleased to find a bit of history on the beach, tank defences inscribed with the names of long ago soldiers, perhaps uncovered by the ferocious winter storms we have been blessed with.
