Tutorial para bailar Albazo - Paso a Paso

The Albazo is perhaps the most complex musical genre in Ecuadorian music. During festive times, as dawn broke, popular bands would roam the streets playing albazos, or, as they were known, waking newlyweds with the albasillo. This musical genre and sung dance for couples emerged between the 19th and 21st centuries. It is in 6/8 time and is also known as Saltashpa, derived from the Yaraví, but in a lively tempo. Its lyrics generally express affection, heartbreak, ingratitude, and disappointment, and are structured in stanzas, most often in four-line stanzas.
