Headed to La Plata Missouri for unofficial Rail Days 6/27/2025. Lots of great railfans convened upon La Plata from all over the world, including Australia and England! At some point we headed over to the old wooden bridge near Gibbs, Mo. Good times and lots of action while we were there! Headed back to the station for Amtrak Southwest Chief #3. Lots of great horn action especially at the bridge. 0:00 BNSF slowly through La Plata during a work order resulting in slower trains 0:20 BNSF Intermodal 5 lead engines 0:57 BNSF Intermodal with 2 leaders 1:16 BNSF at the old wooden bridge nears Gibbs 1:47 BNSF grain 2:22 BNSF Intermodal 3 leader 2:56 A race with another BNSF Intermodal racing up alongside the previous 3:43 BNSF Intermodal.
