The John Muir Way Leg 2 - Balloch to Strathblane
For the 2nd leg of our John Muir Way adventure we walked from Balloch to Strathblane. We departed our accommodations, The Time Out B&B ( www.timeout-bb.co.uk )at 8:20am after a nice breakfast. Our route took us past The Balloch Castle and its amazing view of Loch Lomond. From there we walked past many farm properties and many different breed of cows, sheep and even a deer! Although the ‘books’ told us our walk would be 31Km today, after lots of hills, rain and mud, our final walk total was 29Km with both of us having over 35,000 steps!
