The John Muir Way Leg 4 - Kilsyth to Falkirk

After a lovely stay at The Boathouse in Kilsyth, we set out on our 4th Leg in the light rain along the way. The first 5 or 6 km were fairly uneventful, along the canal on flat walking trail. We took a break in the little town of Bonnybridge at the Retro Cafe. We shared a couple rolls; one sausage and the other haggis along with a cup of coffee. We then took time to register a geocache (GC7Q3NX - Bonnybridge History - The Ford Bridge) It was not long before we hit the track along the Antonine Wall, and then staring at the Falkirk Wheel; a true engineering feat. Another 5k later we ended our day in a pub that is almost 200 years old!!! Watch for our entire series on The John Muir Way!
