WE NEARLY DIDN'T MAKE IT: DISASTER ON THE TRANS EUROPEAN TRAIL (TET)

We thought we were in for an incredible trip on the Trans European Trail across France and Spain. Instead, everything seemed determined to stop us, particularly on day 1. With rutted trails, muddy sections that turned against us, and somewhere along the way we managed to burn out the clutches. Add in steep climbs, rocky tracks, mud, river crossings, mechanical problems and a few moments where we genuinely questioned whether we'd get through, this became a motorcycle adventure we'd remember. This wasn't the polished adventure we'd imagined. It was one of those curveball days where every mile had to be earned.
