Or perhaps I "researched music production even earlier," which probably predates my exposure to the electronic keyboard. I started playing with recording in elementary school, but back then I used a cassette recorder. I recorded myself playing the harmonica, recorder, talking, singing, and playing the piano... very rudimentary. It was an action done for "recording," repeatedly playing back the sounds I created—it was quite fun. In middle school, I gradually noticed that besides the green headphone jack, there was a rarely used red jack on the back of the computer. What was that for? Oh, so green is called "output" and red is called "input"... oh..... Slowly, I noticed something strange: why do computer speakers sometimes have three speakers, besides pairs of two? At the time, my older brother, much older than me, was in his teenage years, playing with audio equipment and listening to music—very trendy. I could find all sorts of CDs at home, but I had no concept of Hi-Fi or audiophile equipment. In high school, although I started exploring "how to record sound" because I loved singing, it was all very rudimentary. I didn't even understand MP3 format or bitrate. How many loops were on a cable? What difference did it make which hole you inserted into on the computer? It was all just random fiddling around... I didn't really understand anything. Remember the story I told you about the electronic keyboard last time? Electronic keyboards were so cool back then, supporting 3.5"FDD disk drives. USB existed then, but it was a cool feature, not readily available... Computers primarily used CDs and disks for storage... That's when I started figuring out what "MIDI" was. It turned out to be divided into "track numbers." This was also related to mobile phone ringtone editing at the time. Some phones supported "quadruple chords." Some supported "16-chord," "32-chord," and "64-chord" ringtones. There were even "128-chord" ringtones... The more supported the music, the more songs you could play. That was an era when websites didn't support uploading MP3s or WMA files because internet speeds weren't fast enough. … Throughout this process, I learned by trial and error, understanding only bits and pieces along the way. I never truly grasped the intricacies of music production. But I always knew I wanted to create beautiful music and share it with others. Unexpectedly, this desire persisted until today, many years later. Now, as a professional musician, engaged in teaching, promoting, performing, producing, and selling music, a large part of my joy and sense of accomplishment comes from my ability to create better music. And in this process, my musical skills and integration techniques have improved significantly. I no longer rely on rudimentary methods; I understand clearer processes and organization. Therefore, the music I share online for free is not casual. Playing is not casual, singing is not casual, recording is not casual, mixing is not casual. It has undergone a standardized process, meticulous planning, and thoughtful investment. I pay attention to many details that may seem commonplace and obvious, but are actually quite challenging. Is there much to say about this? Normally, there's not much to say. Unless you develop an interest in recording your own music, like I do Unless you want to document your practice, want to hear your own performance Unless you have some creative ideas, want to create unique sounds and compositions Unless you're willing to seriously dedicate yourself to pursuing detail and quality Unless you want to create works that you yourself would enjoy listening to again and again Otherwise, there's not much to say; therefore, I won't share too many details for no reason. I've arranged solos and duets with friends on this piece, but I've never dared to attempt a vocal version. This is because the lyrics are extremely long, the pronunciation is very difficult, and the singing style is extremely challenging, requiring very delicate handling.
