#58 Les Crazy Trotters - Africa Trip Vanlife - République du Congo (Episode 24)

In this twenty-fourth episode of our Africa Trip, we enter the Republic of Congo from the north of the country. To reach Ouesso, we cross the magnificent primary forest where the timber trade is extremely active. A new road provides easy access, and many small, typical villages are dotted along the way. Ouesso, a small town ideal for shopping for necessities. We spend the night, not far from the center, in a priests' school where a magnificent sound and light show accompanies the songs of the future preachers. The next day, a little muscle-building exercise with a ten-kilometer run. Schoolchildren join Hélène to share a few strides to their school. We then meet up with other travelers, and a friendly game of soccer takes place with the children around us. Afterwards, a quick stop at the monument marking the equator before heading to Oyo, the president's hometown. We continue our journey by heading to a national park where gorillas are found. Impressive at first, then disappointing… Arriving in Brazzaville, we rush to see the Congo River where locals are having fun in the rapids. Finally, we hit the road again towards Pointe Noire where a nice surprise awaits us...
