Trolling Lake Livingston for white bass, the wind and crowds made it tough!

We caught some white bass today, but the weather and crowds made us work for it!The rumors were true—the bite was on, so we headed out early to fill the livewell. It started as a gorgeous morning, and my dad hooked into a fish almost immediately. We thought we were going to absolutely crush it!Unfortunately, after about an hour, the wind spiked past 20 mph, making it brutal to troll our favorite spots. On top of that, heavy boat traffic started cutting right through the fishing grounds. It turned into a real grind, but we still managed to bring home dinner.
