Obereschach (Villingen - Schwenningen) (D - BW) Die Glocken der Pfarrkirche St. Ulrich

This video presents the bell c#1 -e1 -f#1 -g#1 -h1 [do#3 -mi3 -fa#3 -sol#3 -si3] of St. Ulrich church in Obereschach, near Villingen-Schwenningen, southern Germany. ➥ After the Second World War, only the smallest bell from the Grueninger bell foundry in Villingen remained in Obereschach. New #bells arrived as early as 1949. For cost reasons, the decision was made in favour of the Junker bell foundry in Brilon, which produced the four new instruments [1+2+3+4] in special "Briloner Sonderbronze". However, the smallest bell from the pre-war period did not fit the peal. When another bell from Brilon was up for sale, which was actually intended for a different peal but did not fit properly here, it was decided to use this bell [5], cast in 1950, instead of the old instrument. However, as can easily be heard today, this instrument does not completely match the 1949 peal. The ensemble rings out from the large tower hall with a not inconsiderable volume over the small town. The large bell has a not inconsiderable direct sound effect.
