Happy Pride Month to all the queer besties, you know I love you down, so I had to finally cover this highly requested episode, that may or may not be a queer episode; I'll let you determine that fact for yourself. Season 8 Episode 61, Victoria & Anthony is one of the most shocking Catfish episodes for absolutely all of the wrong reasons. Victoria is a sweet, albeit naive girl who has been in a text only relationship with Anthony for 8 years. They first met when 21 year old Anthony randomly added 16 year old Victoria on snapchat, and have had a consistently tumultuous relationship ever since. This catfish unfortunately took things too far throughout the years, and not only did they prey on multiple women and manipulate them extensively, they also threatened the person whose pictures they stole to catfish in the first place! Nev and Kamie were definitely caught off guard, but that didn't stop them from trying to hold the wrongdoers accountable for their actions. They were shocked that the catfish showed no remorse, nor regret for what they had done, and unfortunately the two month follow up was almost as shocking as the confrontation itself. This is one of the few episodes where both hosts refuse to sweep wrong doing under the rug by and I am so here for it.
