The government appears to have shifted its tactics in handling protests across the country. Gone are the days of Subaru convoys filled with masked officers carrying rifles. In their place is a new pattern, unidentified operatives moving in high-end vehicles with concealed or missing registration plates. Our crew in Ongata Rongai witnessed firsthand how these shadowy units now operate in luxury vehicles. In response, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen said the approach is meant to protect officers from potential harm. And as Ode Francis reports, police also deployed a new tactic to disperse protesters using acoustic weapons.
