7 days Alone in a Canoe - Suwannee River, Florida Day 1

Day 1 of my solo canoe camping adventure on the Suwannee River in Florida. Due to low water levels, I was dropped off at Dowling Park boat ramp by American Canoe Adventures to begin this multi-day wilderness journey. From there, I paddled approximately 100 miles down the historic Suwannee River to Anderson Landing River Camp in Suwannee, Florida at the entrance to the Gulf. This trip lasted 9 days total — with 7 days of paddling and two zero days — camping along the remote banks of the river the entire way.
