UploadVR Showcase Summer 2026 Recap: In Case You Missed It

The UploadVR Games Showcase for Summer 2026 featured 34 VR games, updates, DLC announcements, and upcoming releases for Meta Quest, SteamVR, PCVR, PSVR2, and PICO. In this video, I go through every game shown in the showcase and give my thoughts on what was revealed and what upcoming VR games are around the corner. There were a few interesting announcements, including Guardians Planetfall, Bootstrap Island’s new update, Sol Protocol, Lanesplit VR support, Detective VR, Cave Crave, Hyperlane Highway, Bomb the Hill, and Rustmourne. But overall, I came away from this showcase feeling pretty disappointed with the current state of VR gaming lacking big VR titles. A lot of what was shown felt small, basic, or too similar to the same kinds of VR games we have seen for years. Out of 34 games, Rustmourne was the one new game that genuinely caught my attention, and funny enough, it is a dedicated PCVR game.
