VR Is Not Dying… It’s Evolving

VR is changing, and you can feel it. From where VR started to where it is going next, the whole industry feels like it is going through a major shift. We are seeing better headsets, better mixed reality, stronger standalone hardware, and new ways to experience games and apps in virtual reality. But at the same time, we are also seeing VR studios shut down, developers struggle, games get cancelled, and companies like Meta appear to pull back from certain parts of VR. So what does this all mean? Is VR dying, or is VR simply changing into something different? In this video, I talk about the current state of VR, where it started, what is happening right now, and where I think the future of VR could be headed. From Meta Quest to PCVR, Apple Vision Pro, Samsung Galaxy XR, mixed reality, and the struggles inside the VR gaming industry, there is a lot happening.
