Scotland Motorcycle Adventure 2022 - Day 3 Episode 2 - Braemar to Inverness - Yamaha Tracer 9 GT

Day 3 Episode 2 and we’re continuing our journey to Wick. Setting of from Braemar we pay a visit to Balmoral before taking the military road through the Cairngorms National Park and into the highlands north to Inverness on my Yamaha Tracer 9 GT. This video continues the relaxed mood as we follow the path of the River Dee North from Braemar to Balmoral. A short stop at Balmoral to take a few photographs before continuing our journey north across a landscape carpeted with purple heather, what a sight to behold! We chanced upon the Lecht Ski Centre which served as an ideal spot for lunch. With our appetites sated we continue north through some more amazing landscape before joining the A9 to Inverness where we fueled up at the local Tesco before joining the NC500 route for the last leg of the journey to Wick, coming up in episode 3. I hope the video captures and does justice to the experience and provides a feel for just how spectacular rural Scotland is. I can totally understand why the Queen would choose Balmoral and everything that surrounds it to live out her final days, there is something truly spiritual about the location.
