４K HDR 高野山 山王院”堅精” 1407年から続いている儀礼”りっせい”

高野山には古来より「学道」として様々な経典や論疏を勉強する習わしになっています。この山王院堅精は高野山に伝わる学道に関する儀式で、16日の夕方から翌日に掛け、密教に関する問答を繰り広げる儀式で、高野山の住職にとっては非常に大切な法会（論議）の一つです。元の始まりは、山王院の前にございます「明神様（みょうじんさま）」へ奉納する儀式でありました。ある時期、高野山に荒廃期があり、そのころはお坊さんも勉強どころではなく、次第に怠けるようになりました。ところがそれを見守っていた明神様はとうとう堪忍袋の緒がきれて、神世の世界に帰るとおっしゃいました。それを聞いたお坊さんたちは大変だとばかりに早速南都へ二人のお坊さんを使わし、当時行われておりました問答を学んで帰山し、早速明神様の御前で密教問答を繰り広げました。これを見た明神様はいたくご満足なされ、「それならば帰るのはやめて今までどおり高野山を見守ろう。この儀式を行う際は必ず雨を降らせて私が聴聞していることを示そう」とのお言葉をいただき、それ以来この儀式の際に少しの雨が降るようになったとされております。現在でも、この儀式の時に雨が降ると、「明神様がいらっしゃった」と、高野山のお坊さんは益々神様への感謝の念を興さずにはいられないのです。 この行事も旧暦にて執行され、「夏季祈り」に続きまして旧暦5月3日に執行されます。 Since ancient times, Koyasan has been a practice of studying various scriptures and arguments as a "study". When performing this ritual, make sure to rain to show that I am listening." It is said that it has been raining a little during this ceremony since then.
