DeWalt DCD996 Drill Repair Update

In this follow up video the DeWalt DCD996 finds it way back on the bench.... This drill has gave up again on us here. I believe it is due to the fuse being a higher rating fuse than I originally thought and the minimized surface contact of the original re-soldered fuse may have been the issue. This drill had worked ok for around 6 months now, but it is time to crack it back open. I believe with most of the fuse manufactures out there using V marking for 30A fuse that this is most likely a 30A fuse here. I ordered some replacements from eBay due to shipping cost of ordering these by there self at somewhere like Dig-Key or Newark. I would absolutely trust these brands better for sure.
