[EWL SD3] SMRT Alstom Movia R151 – 925/926: Tanah Merah → Simei

Date taken: 14/03/2026 A ride onboard a SMRT Alstom Movia R151 train from Tanah Merah to Simei on the East-West Line (EWL), during the service adjustment period from 14 Mar 2026 till 17 Mar 2026. EWL tracks between Tanah Merah and the former Changi Depot were removed and disconnected from the system as the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) has officially taken over all operations of the EWL. As a result, EWL/CAL services between Tanah Merah and Expo were suspended for the 4 day period, and shuttle train services were available between Expo and Changi Airport stations. Once the works are completed, the former Changi Depot will be demolished and the land plot will be returned to the state for redevelopment.
