1952 Willys Pickup Restoration | Starting the Bodywork & Rust Repair!

PART 25; We’re kicking off the next chapter on the 1952 Willys pickup restoration! After two years of mechanical work, the truck is a solid runner, but now it’s time to tackle bodywork and paint. In this video, I walk through the truck in detail—showing the good spots, the problem areas, and the challenges ahead. From rust, cracks, and thick layers of old bondo to patch jobs and rotted panels, there’s plenty to fix. I start with the front driver’s fender, get it media blasted, and reveal what we’re really working with. You’ll also see some of the new tools in the shop that will help with this stage—sheet metal brake, bead roller, shrinker/stretcher, and more. This is going to be a big project, but one step at a time, we’ll bring this Willys back to life with fresh metal and a new look.
