The BEST Deer Steak Is NOT What You Think!

Do different steaks from a deer actually taste different from each other? I tested four different steaks from a whitetail deer — all grilled the same way. Here's what happened. I took a backstrap, tenderloin, top round steak, and flat iron steak, brined them all for 24 hours with kosher salt then grilled them on my Oklahoma Joe's grill. I ate them side by side and judged each one on texture, moisture, and flavor. Venison can be tricky to cook because it is incredibly lean and often has a strong gamey flavor. If one of these steaks tastes better than the rest, it's worth knowing — and if it doesn't, it will help us decide which cuts to keep as steaks and which to grind. ** Oklahoma Joe's https://www.kqzyfj.com/click-10163279... ** Contact me Email: [email protected] Instagram:   / outdoors_al.  .
