The GD166B clamp meter is capable of measuring both AC and DC current up to 600 amps. It features True RMS and a 6,000 counts service life. It can be used for diode and continuity testing. It features inrush current measurement and non-contact voltage detection. It can measure AC and DC voltage, resistance, capacitor capacitance, frequency, and temperature. Unfortunately, the clamp meter does not have the ability to switch between automatic and manual measurement ranges, but it does have an automatic measurement mode selection function, an LED flashlight, relative measurements, and minimum and maximum measurement functions. The GVDA GD166B clamp meter is shipped in a branded cardboard box. It includes a hard zippered case containing the clamp meter itself, measuring probes, a thermocouple, and an instruction manual.
