Trains at Tamworth. WCML/XCR. 22/07/2024.

A great 2 and a half hour stay here at Tamworth on the Cross Country Route (upstairs) and West Coast Mainline (downstairs) where we see plenty of services from Avanti West Coast, Cross Country, London Northwestern Railway and Freight from DRS, Freightliner, GBRF and Royal Mail. Tamworth is always a phenomenal station to film at and today was no different. Can never complain when you receive 3 70s, albeit only 2 were actually filmed, 90s and a 68. Always a fantastic variety in traffic coming through. Barely a break between trains. If you've never been here before then I do recommend it. My next station will hopefully be Cheltenham Spa on the Cross Country Route where we should see plenty of services from Cross Country, Great Western Railway, Transport for Wales and hopefully some Freight as well.
