Hydrostatic Pressure Tank Problem

In this fluid mechanics example, we solve a hydrostatic pressure problem involving a tank with air, oil, and water. Gage A reads 15 psia, while gage B reads 1.25 psi less than gage C. We use hydrostatic pressure relationships to determine: a) The specific weight of the oil in lbf/ft³ b) The absolute pressure reading at gage C in psia This is a useful fluid statics example for understanding pressure variation with depth, multi-fluid systems, oil-water layers, gage readings, absolute pressure, and unit conversions between psi and lbf/ft².
