The Sun Salutation, Surya Namaskar, can be practiced as a standalone yoga session or as a warm-up before a yoga class. It is generally practiced at sunrise and/or sunset, facing the sun. There is the Hatha Yoga Sun Salutation, which you can find here (), as well as the Vinyasa Series A Sun Salutation (this one) and the Vinyasa Series B Sun Salutation (coming very soon). The sequence of postures varies from one Sun Salutation to another. In all cases, each movement is accompanied by breath. You inhale and exhale in rhythm with your body. It is important not to hold your breath to fully benefit from this yoga sequence. Sun Salutations allow you to: warm up your body; loosen your legs; increase spinal flexibility; strengthen your back muscles; To improve back flexibility; To strengthen arms and shoulders, etc. Sun Salutations are very complete flows that can be practiced daily.
