Slalom for beginners - Level 4

Timing turns with the boat and two hands on the handle. Now you can move from side to side and maintain your default position at all times its time to link turns with two hands on the handle. Learn to control the glide by lifting your hands in front of you and making sure you are on a flat ski (level 1 position). Don't try and slow down by leaning back, learn to press on the front of the ski to slow down. As the line tightens learn to move your mass over the side of the ski (level 2) and re-engage the level 1 position BEFORE the boat pulls you. Make sure you feel the pressure pulling your outside elbow against your lower rib cage and resist your arms coming up and away from your chest.
