Fun Police or Just Fun Whisky? 🚓🥃 | Master of Malt - North British 16 Year Old | The Neckpour

Today we’re opening a North British 16 Year Old Single Grain Whisky, bottled by Master of Malt, a release with a bit of a story behind it. 🚓🥃 This whisky was originally released under the name “Dalry Milk,” but was later pulled from sale due to legal issues, before returning this year (For April Fool's day no less!) with a very different name “Removed by the Fun Police”. Single grain whisky can be a tricky one, sometimes smooth and easy, sometimes a little too thin, and occasionally even a bit harsher than you’d expect for the style. So where does this one land? There’s a solid age statement here and plenty of curiosity around the bottling, but as always, it comes down to what’s in the glass. 💬 What’s your take on single grain whisky — underrated, inconsistent, or just not for you? If you enjoyed this review, check out more from The Neckpour, The Dregs, and Bottle Battles on the channel. Please drink responsibly and always obey the alcohol laws of your state/country. 🎧 Music – “Felicity” by Scott Buckley – released under CC-BY 4.0 www.scottbuckley.com.au #TheNeckpour #TheDregs #BottleBattle #NorthBritish #SingleGrainWhisky #MasterOfMalt #ScotchWhisky #WhiskyReview #WhiskyTube #WhiskyCommunity
