Qué leer cuanto antes. 50 libros para entender la vida - Value School
If the 21st-century world seems complex and contradictory, good literature can help us organize our thoughts and put our feelings in perspective. Amidst a relentless torrent of information and new releases, which authors and books are worth rescuing and treasuring? Which titles can we read with pleasure and benefit? Which can we recommend with the certainty of being right? Homer, Cervantes, Dostoevsky, Galdós, Delibes, Zweig, Tolkien… throughout this session with author and essayist José Ramón Ayllón, we will discuss some of the best books ever written, which he himself reviewed in What to Read as Soon as Possible (Homo Legens, 2022). José Ramón Ayllón studied Philosophy and Letters at the Universities of Oviedo and Valladolid. Coordinator of Nueva Revista and associate professor at the University of Montevideo, he has been teaching literature, ethics, and philosophy for over twenty years. A novelist and essayist, he is the author of *Dear Brutus*, *The Man Who Was Chesterton*, *The World of Ideologies*, and *Updated Ethics*, among other titles.
