Simple but stunning cards with the Painted Lavender stamp set from Stampin Up with Jemini Crafts

Join us as we make 2 simple but effective cards with a single stamp set Painted Lavender. (Sentiment came from Layered Leaves stamp set). We used the Scallop Contours dies to cut out 2 pretty scalloped edge rectangles (these are two of my favourite dies to us) in the 2 sizes, and masked them off with masking tape so that the stitched edge and the outer edge are covered. We then stamped the floral images and the foliage images onto the card, and used a blending brush to go over the bottom section and the top section with Balmy Blue ink for the sky. I loved how these came out. we added a sentiment to each one, and then layered onto a notecard and a full sized card as appropriate for the die cut panels. We added some stamping on the inside and to the envelope, and some small flat embellishments to finish. I think these will go own well at coffee an card this week. I hope you like them. Watch out for another video later this week. You could easily change the ink colour and background panel to make them look like different flowers.
