Berry Botanical Vellum with a twist
Today’s project features the beautiful Product of the Month – Berry Botanical Vellum, with a unique textured twist! I’ve taken vellum to the next level by using the scoring tip from my Take Your Pick Tool on the reverse side to gently rub and create a stunning raised texture effect. It adds such a soft, dimensional look that really elevates the design. For the card base, I created a gate fold card and layered the Fresh Freesia vellum onto Basic White cardstock, adding it to each side of the fold. To bring the focal point together, I cut coordinating squares in Fresh Freesia, Basic White, and the textured vellum, then adhered them to the centre—attaching only one side so the card opens beautifully. To finish, I added Hydrangea Hue ribbon and a sentiment from the Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape for a perfectly coordinated look. A few Purple Adhesive-Backed embellishments (including Fresh Freesia sequins) add just the right amount of sparkle. Inside the card, I stamped a delicate leafy image in Peaceful Pine ink using 2nd and 3rd generation stamping for a soft, layered effect. This is such a fun technique to try and a great way to add interest to vellum—give it a go and let me know what you think! 💜 Thanks so much for watching! 📩 Contact me for more information 🛍️ To place an order, visit my online shop: www.anitamasiero.stampinup.net
