Leerlingen regelen hun eigen schoolkamp tijdens coronacrisis

For many students, a school trip is out of the question this year due to coronavirus measures. But Group 8 from De Eshorst primary school in Beilen went on a school camp this afternoon after all. The class owes this to Joan Leunge and Sabine Oostingh. The girls had been looking forward to the school trip so much that they decided to write a letter to the municipality of Midden-Drenthe asking if they could go after all. The municipality invited them for a meeting, together with their parents and the school principal. There, they discussed how they could still adhere to the coronavirus rules during a school trip, Sabine explains. "Ultimately, the municipality gave us the go-ahead and we were allowed to travel."
