I'm encouraging all of us to think more deliberately about how we stand, and sit, while playing the flute. Relaxed shoulders, long neck and elongated spine, free lower back and hips, weight over your feet, knees not locked, low center of gravity, feeling your weight sink down through the floor into the ground, As If You Were a TREE!
