Trill Tricks and Traps - Flute Tube, Episode 48

Flutists often learn slightly wrong trill fingerings. And, while there are good trill charts out there, I often disagree with one or two fingerings on them. In those cases, I suppose you can decide whether to agree with me or your own trill fingering chart! First, we cover trill traps: checking to make sure you are using correct trill keys, lifting all of the fingers needed to get the best pitch results, and possible fingerings you may have learned wrong someplace like band. Then we cover trill tricks: ways to make your trills feel easier, work more quickly and smoothly, plus a bonus Left Hand Low B Lever you've likely never seen before at the end of the episode!
