Sea Fishing UK | Smooth Hound Fishing at Reculver in Deteriorating Conditions

The hounds have been showing for a few weeks now and I thought it was about time I went Fishing for them. The only opportunity I had this week was on the Friday evening. I had an invite to go on the Wednesday but unfortunately couldn't make it and missed out on an awesome session. check it out here;    • Reculver hound fishing and new PB's   Anyway...I had to make the most of what I had in front of me, which was a chocolate sea, more weed than even Snoop Dogg could handle and a wind that was growing by the hour. As I started fishing it was evident that the weed was bad and I was going to have to fish through it until I got a window of opportunity which came about 30 mins short of high water. I landed a hound in this time and missed another until the weed came in with a vengeance. The wind picked up and the rollers were crashing a shore so it was time for me to call it an night.
