Sea Fishing UK | Cod fishing at Kingsdown, Kent

The destination was Oldstairs Bay in Kingsdown near Deal and this was the first attempt at catching a Cod this season and it didn't disappoint! The tides looked good, the weather looked good and the wind looked good all we needed was the fish! and as soon as the sun set the fish did come out to play. As we set up we were greeted by a search and rescue helicopter hovering right in front of us but not even that could put the fish off. Dogfish, Whiting and Cod all made an appearance and it was a frustrating but enjoyable session to bring in the Autumn.
