🐝 Apiary Check & Adding Boxes - Spring Management -8 Frame Langstroth Hive Inspection

Today I’m visiting multiple apiaries to see how my bees are doing and whether any of the colonies need another box added. I run all deep 8-frame Langstroth hives, and during these inspections I found a mix of colony strengths—some hives are building up strong, while others are still on the smaller side. In this video I walk through what I’m looking for when deciding if a hive needs more space, along with general beekeeping tasks around the yard. I also do some string trimming to keep the weeds down around the fence and maintain the apiary. This is a real-world look at routine hive checks and how I manage different colonies throughout the season.
