I wanted to take a moment to pray over the people who saw pieces of their own story in it… the ones carrying not only illness, but the grief, exhaustion, and invisible wounds that can come from feeling unseen, misunderstood, or disbelieved while trying to survive it. After seven parts reflecting on what chronic stress, dismissal, rejection, disbelief, and validation can do to the brain and nervous system, I wanted to end The Science of Being Seen the same way I ended my last series—with prayer. This is a prayer for the ones carrying visible pain and invisible pain. For the ones healing not only from illness, but from misunderstanding. For the ones whose bodies have been through so much, and whose hearts have too. For the ones still trying to find safety, steadiness, and rest after long seasons of survival mode.
