This is a three-part video conversation with Reverend Matsuyama Terunori, the abbot of Futetsuji Temple. The title of this episode is "Year of the Tiger, Leo: A Woman's Beastly Path: Sharing My Life Story." She encountered zazen at the age of seven and became a nun at the age of 48. After undergoing rigorous training as a nun, in 2016 she became the abbot of Futetsuji Temple in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, which was founded over 300 years ago and has been passed down by women for generations.
