All work is complete, and the road is ready for use. This event has been anticipated for decades. The road, which was discussed in the early years of independence, has become a reality. The completed section is one of the region's largest infrastructure projects. Its significance extends far beyond transport accessibility. It includes new routes, new economic ties, and new opportunities for the region's development. Smooth asphalt on the Kyzylorda-Zhezkazgan highway has been the dream of generations. And today, this dream has come true. All that remains is to install the supporting infrastructure, and the highway will be fully operational. Bypasses have been closed, and the road is fully open to drivers. The head of the relevant department has announced when the Zhezkazgan section will be completed. It's worth noting that all inert materials for the construction of the Zhezkazgan section are being delivered by the ton from the Shieli and Zhanakorgan districts. We clarified how this will affect the condition of the recently renovated Kyzylorda section. KazAvtoZhol assured that heavy equipment will use bypass routes and will not affect the new asphalt. At the opening ceremony, specialists who contributed to the road's construction were also recognized. They received departmental and regional awards.
