Перегруз под контролем
#qyzylordatv Kazakhstan has tightened controls on heavy-duty trucks. The initiative is a nationwide campaign that will last until August 10th. The focus is on vehicles carrying loads exceeding the permissible weight limit. These are the most common causes of premature road deterioration. Summer heat poses a serious challenge for roads. High temperatures soften asphalt, and overloaded trucks accelerate its deterioration. That's why the nationwide campaign "Pay Attention! Heavy Vehicles!" is being held across the country, aimed at tightening controls on the transportation of oversized and heavy loads. The main goal is to preserve roads and prevent their premature deterioration. MARAT ZHIENBAEV – ACTING HEAD OF THE REGIONAL TRANSPORT CONTROL INSPECTORATE DEPARTMENT Temporary traffic restrictions are imposed on trucks with a single axle load exceeding 8 tons at temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius. In the Kyzylorda region, these restrictions are in effect from June 1 to August 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., if the temperature exceeds the established threshold. Overload truck monitoring will soon be fully automated. Construction of an automated weigh station is nearing completion at kilometer 1,836 of the KAZ-06 "Karabutak - Kyzylorda - Shymkent" national highway, near the village of Birkazan. Once operational, it will automatically determine the weight and dimensions of trucks and record violations without the intervention of an inspector or vehicle stoppages. Experts believe this will make monitoring more objective and minimize corruption risks. The system itself does not interfere with traffic. The equipment is located under the road surface. Similar stations are planned for installation on other roads in the region. SERIK MYRZAGALIYEV – DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE REGIONAL BRANCH OF NC KAZAVTOZHOL Construction of an automated weigh station has been completed here. It allows for the weight of trucks to be measured without stopping. The project was completed in 8-9 months, and we plan to have the station operational by the end of July. This will help ensure the safety of the roads. During the campaign, transport inspectors, together with police officers, will continue to check for compliance with weight standards. Particular attention will be paid to trucks and dump trucks carrying loads exceeding the permissible weight.
