À moi, Mousquetaires !

Made legendary by Alexandre Dumas, the King's Musketeers were created by Louis XIII in 1622 and reached their golden age under Louis XIV before being definitively disbanded in 1815. They participated in military campaigns, amidst the fury and smoke of the battlefields of the Grand Siècle, and in the political affairs of the kingdom, finding themselves immersed in the inner workings of the monarchy and the secrets of royal power. Julien Wilmart, PhD in History (Sorbonne-UCL) and author of "The King's Musketeers" (Tallandier, 2023), a scientific advisor for film ("The Three Musketeers," 2023) and television, dedicates his research to the political and military history of the Ancien Régime. Join him as he recounts the true adventures of the King's Musketeers.
