Tomatsoppa - Grundrecept

A simple recipe for tomato soup. Kids usually love this. 4 servings: 1 onion 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter 0.5 tbsp dried basil 0.5 tbsp Dried thyme 400 grams of crushed tomatoes 1 dl white wine 3 dl water 2 tablespoons chicken broth . Vegetable broth if you want a vegetarian dish. 1 clove of garlic 2 tablespoons sugar 1 bay leaf 2.5 dl heavy cream black pepper Do this: 1. Chop and fry the onion softly in oil or butter in a saucepan. Add the herbs that are allowed to simmer for a while. 2. Pour in the wine. Pour in tomatoes, water, broth, chopped garlic, sugar and bay leaves. Let the soup cook slowly for 20-30 minutes. 3. Remove the bay leaf, mix the soup smooth. Feel free to strain through a sieve to get rid of any lumps. Pour into a new saucepan. 4. Add the cream and simmer for another 10-20 minutes. Add black pepper, possibly a little salt and season with extra with basil and thyme.
