Former corrections officer David Kingsley sentenced on murder conviction
Former Marcy Corrections Officer David Kingsley was sentenced to the murder of inmate Robert Brooks on Friday morning. Kingsley received the maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison at the request of prosecutors. The convicted murderer was found guilty by trial in the Oneida County Court on Oct. 20. He was convicted on both a murder and a manslaughter charge in connection with Brooks' death.
