All the machines at work on a railway renewal project in Luxembourg

Here we have some major railway renewal works that were ongoing in the summer on the busiest part of the Luxembourgish railway network, the line from Luxembourg City to Bettembourg (L60 and L90). The national railway company CFL, together with Sopinor and Costantini, removed the old track ballast, replaced drainage and cables, and added fresh ballast before laying new tracks. There were countless machines on site, particularly 15t short tailswing excavators like the Develon/Doosan DX140 LCR-7, Hitach ZX135 US-7. Also present were a New Holland E225B SR, a Kobelco SK270SR-5, a large Komatsu WA475-10 wheel loader and two Komatsu bulldozers, a D65 and a D51.
