Walking through the gates marked with the infamous phrase “Arbeit Macht Frei,” I came face-to-face with a place that witnessed unimaginable suffering, brutality, and loss of life during the Holocaust. In this video, I explore the camp grounds, learn about the history of Sachsenhausen, and reflect on the stories of the prisoners who were held here.
