Contre expériences : Jean-Marie, entre recherche scientifique et rôle d'aidant
🎙️ Jean-Marie is a lecturer and researcher in computer science and algorithmic geometry. Becoming a single father at 23, he continued his scientific career while also becoming the primary caregiver for his daughter, who has a rare disease. In this episode of Counter-Experiences, he shares how he balanced his family and professional responsibilities, the transition from the public to the private sector to better reconcile the two, and the importance of a supportive work environment. His message? Science needs diversity, including in life paths. 💻 A workshop facilitation guide for raising awareness about podcasting is available: https://www.rhone-auvergne.cnrs.fr/fr... This project is an initiative of the CNRS Rhône Auvergne delegation's Equality Mission, supported by its network of Equality Correspondents in research units. It was carried out with the support of Coop-Egal and Studio Plus Huit. This project is supported by the Ministry of Public Service's Fund for Gender Equality in the Workplace. #CNRSPodcast #Lyon #equality
