This coaster opened during the coaster wars of the 90s and 2000s and was delayed during testing. It hoped to be the first roller coaster in the world to reach 100 mph. Was it? well kinda. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it is Superman: The Escape. A rollercoaster that pushed technolgy in the industry forward and made a huge impact around the world.
