In June 2025, the company "Ukrtransmist" at the request of the Kyivavtodor Commercial Court began major repairs of the automobile overpass near the Osokorky metro station. The 153.5-meter 5-span beam bridge structure built in 1989-1990 was declared emergency in 2019 and was subject to replacement. Two parallel new overpasses are being built on the existing grates. Direct approaches to them are being redesigned. Now the western overpass has been built and on April 19, 2026 it was opened for technical traffic. All structures of the eastern part of the old overpass, which will not be used for the construction of the new structure, have been dismantled. At the time of surveying, reinforcement is anchored to the grate of the zero-stabilized support under the frame of the body of the new support. Concreted pillars of support 1. A formwork deck has been erected around pillars of support 2 on scaffolding: preparations are underway to install the transom frame and formwork. Support 3 is ready except for the right transom opener. Support 4 is ready. Permanent support 5 is ready, including the cabinet wall and opener, but without sub-trusses yet. We are waiting for the installation of the first beams.
